美味的电影

　　19岁的少年赛斯·戴维斯（吉奥瓦尼·瑞比西 Giovanni Ribisi饰）一心希望能尽快淘到自己的第一桶金，好让父亲另眼相看。他本打算靠玩非法纸牌起家，却发现此路根本行不通，直到一家名为J.T.马林经纪公司的股票经纪商找上了赛维斯。　　在这个号称“锅炉房”的核心办公室里，多少个一夜间成为百万富翁的故事深深诱惑着赛维斯。很快，野心勃勃的赛维斯便以优异的成绩通过了股票经济人认证考试，开始了他的“成功之路”。他把那些永远都没有前途的股票卖给利欲熏心的投资者。赛维斯正以极危险的速度追逐着金钱与利益，靠近着他所谓的功成名就，贪婪而不安。在纽约长岛这个瞬息万变的商业圈里，良心未泯的赛维斯终于开始面对良心的考验。

 故事发生在巴黎阿拉伯人和犹太人聚居区，那里有许多妓院。上了年纪、体弱多病的犹太妇女罗莎，负责照顾一群妓女所生的孩子，而她自己过去也曾当过妓女，并在纳粹集中营度过一段可怕的时光。影片主要表现罗莎夫人与她所照顾的一个阿拉伯男孩令人感动的关系。

　　Molly Dunn（Jhey Castles 饰）从小热爱地理，她曾在半夜做实验闹得家人不得安宁，但是她并不是一个十分幸运的孩子，父亲很早就死于一场地震灾害中。长大后Molly成为了一名地质学家，在一所大学教书，某天她正在做一项预测地震的试验，安放在各处的传感器数据显示即将会有一场大地震发生，她必须通知所有人撤离，但是她的力量实在太薄弱了，并没有人愿意听信她的预测，地震如期而至，她只有与时间赛跑，尽可能的拯救更多的人。

　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
