徐大富及其妻子乃香港典型的草根家庭，阿富基于金融风暴后，生意极惨淡的情况下，却又极之好「滚」，阿莲是全职家庭主妇，她唯一的娱乐乃「打麻雀」，狂生活费及娱乐费的驱使下，为势所迫的阿莲需要借贵利以解财困，但亦因此种下泥足深陷的祸根，当阿莲连利息也还不起时，被贵利佬强迫当娼，振客还债，私家侦探孟龙、美香为求将阿莲救出火坑，及将贵利集团绳之于法，美香不惜以身作饵，直踩到贵利集团，不幸被贵利王何江识破，美香身陷迫娼的险境，孟龙无计可施下，作出最坏打算的行动…
